DORDOGNE (PART DEUX): GOUFFRE DE PADIRAC & ROCAMADOUR

Eric and I loved Dordogne so much that we had to go back two weekends later for more. This time, we explored the southern area.

First, we drove through the two most charming towns in France (according to Rick Steves). The drive was a little scary near some steep cliffs and very winding, narrow roads. I was very glad that Eric was driving! Then, we went to the caves called Gouffre de Padirac.

Next, we drove to Rocamadour, where we stayed right in the medieval city.

This is the view of our chambre d'hôte from a chateau far, far above:

And more of the chateau.

We couldn't get enough of the scenery and views in Dordogne.
